[Winona Online Democracy]
Not that I really want to get into this, but...
I agree that the participants in this discussion need to use good judgment
and kindness. Without them, it will fall apart rapidly. I also believe
that the participants should use their spell check. However, I think it is
unfair to make reference to Mr. Voegeli's profession when referring to his
post. This is not the first time that I have seen a reference to the fact
that he is a teacher. I have not met Mr. Voegeli or asked him how he feels
about this, but I don't think it's fair to put higher standards upon him
just because he is a teacher. Teachers are extremely hard working people,
and it's okay for them to make mistakes too.
