For those reading this thread that aren't familiar with it, don't try dual wielding Desert Eagles or anything with damage rating 3+.
"No weapon with a Damage rating of 3 or higher can be used with any type of Fighting Style or Merit that allows for dual-wielding, such as Two-Weapon Fighting or Gunslinger. Holding two melee weapons or firearms only provides special benefits or bonuses from one of the weapons, even if the character has the Ambidextrous Merit or any applicable Fighting Style."
