Hello, The debug information did not appear very informative. Have you tried enabling only G729A on the remote Cisco gateway? I know that the Quintum gateway only negotiates G729A (this is the only G729 flavor it supports) but the Cisco can be set to accept only specific codecs.
However, I don't see how the addition of the G729 codec could create a problem... Also, can you tell which side is dropping the call upon answer? Is it Asterisk or the other gateway? Do you have any packet captures of the call attempts or debug from the Cisco/Quintum gateway? Best regards, Vlasis Hatzistavrou. -----Original Message----- From: Rushan Sobar [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, May 10, 2006 2:58 AM To: Vlasis Hatzistavrou @ Kinetix Tele.com; ooh323c-devel@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Re: [ooh323c-devel] ooh323 and g729 , g729A compatibility issue myself confused using ooh323 ver 0.2 which already in asterisk-addons work smooth on ooh323 debug when I make a call through ooh323 to my Cisco or quintum gateway here is log... --- ooh323_request - data [EMAIL PROTECTED] format 0x100 (g729) --- find_peer +++ find_peer +++ ooh323_request --- ooh323_call- [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- onNewCallCreated ooh323c_o_1 --- find_call +++ find_call +++ ooh323_call -- Called [EMAIL PROTECTED] setting callid number 282436357 Outgoing call 195.158.192.1(ooh323c_o_1) - Codec prefs - (g729) Adding capabilities to call(outgoing, ooh323c_o_1) Adding g729A capability to call(outgoing, ooh323c_o_1) --- configure_local_rtp +++ configure_local_rtp +++ onNewCallCreated ooh323c_o_1 --- setup_rtp_connection --- find_call +++ find_call +++ setup_rtp_connection --- onAlerting ooh323c_o_1 --- find_call +++ find_call +++ onAlerting ooh323c_o_1 -- OOH323/195.158.192.1-f32e is ringing --- onCallEstablished ooh323c_o_1 --- find_call +++ find_call -- OOH323/195.158.192.1-f32e answered SIP/282436357-73ad +++ onCallEstablished ooh323c_o_1 --- close_rtp_connection --- find_call +++ find_call +++ close_rtp_connection --- onCallCleared ooh323c_o_1 --- find_call +++ find_call --- ooh323_hangup hanging 195.158.192.1 +++ ooh323_hangup --- ooh323_destroy Destroying 195.158.192.1 +++ ooh323_destroy here I made a call normally and close the line and call work smooth... as soon I upgrade to ver. 0.4 or 0.5 or 0.82 this what I get in ooh323 debug --- ooh323_request - data [EMAIL PROTECTED] format 0x100 (g729) --- find_peer +++ find_peer +++ ooh323_request --- ooh323_call- [EMAIL PROTECTED] +++ ooh323_call -- Called [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- onNewCallCreated ooh323c_o_1 --- find_call +++ find_call setting callid number 282436357 Outgoing call 195.158.192.1(ooh323c_o_1) - Codec prefs - (g729) Adding capabilities to call(outgoing, ooh323c_o_1) Adding g729A capability to call(outgoing, ooh323c_o_1) Adding g729 capability to call(outgoing, ooh323c_o_1) --- configure_local_rtp +++ configure_local_rtp +++ onNewCallCreated ooh323c_o_1 --- onAlerting ooh323c_o_1 --- find_call +++ find_call +++ onAlerting ooh323c_o_1 -- OOH323/195.158.192.1-8696 is ringing --- onCallEstablished ooh323c_o_1 --- find_call +++ find_call +++ onCallEstablished ooh323c_o_1 -- OOH323/195.158.192.1-8696 answered SIP/282436357-347d --- onCallCleared ooh323c_o_1 --- find_call +++ find_call --- ooh323_hangup hanging 195.158.192.1 +++ ooh323_hangup --- ooh323_destroy Destroying 195.158.192.1 +++ ooh323_destroy and the call get drop as soon as the line get picked up... the only difference is Adding g729 capability to call so any suggestions?? or help on whats the problem exactly?
