Coming out of lurk mode for the moment, though others have covered this point... Regarding the OOo Forum: I was an admin there years ago (may still be; I'm on the admin mailing list). It was a good forum for awhile, but then the forum owner pretty much abandoned it and no one else has the authority needed to fix some of its problems. The home page hasn't been updated in years; it still offers downloads of OOo 2.3, for example. The spam is taking over because no one can stop it. The whole thing is embarrassing and I would never, ever suggest that a user go there. The Community Forum was set up by people concerned about the deterioration of the OOoForum. Shall I also mention the dubious and misleading use of statistics? --Jean
