I just looked through the original thread where Rick brought up the idea of maybe using something other than railroad tracks. 5 people, including 4 committers, indicated they would prefer something other than railroad tracks. You and Chip said you preferred the railroad tracks 1 person offered an alternative way to produce the railroad tracks, but didn't really voice an opinion as to whether he preferred railroad tracks. So, the consensus was to maybe change the docs depending on how much work it was.
