Your comments are always welcome.  That's the point of soliciting comments.

I just looked through the original thread where Rick brought up the
idea of maybe using something other than railroad tracks.

5 people, including 4 committers, indicated they would prefer
something other than railroad tracks.

You and Chip said you preferred the railroad tracks

1 person offered an alternative way to produce the railroad tracks,
but didn't really voice an opinion as to whether he preferred railroad
tracks.

So, the consensus was to maybe change the docs depending on how much
work it was.

Now, if you and Chip would spearhead a movement to get a group of
people to take over managing and writing the docs, I bet Rick, David,
and myself would be more than happy to have you use whatever type of
syntax diagram you wanted.  <grin>
