Greetings RexxLA'ers,

I am getting an error trying to run the official build of ooRexx 4.1.3 x86 on a
Windows 2000 machine.

RxAPI as a service fails to start. Trying to start it at the command line
returns that the program is not a valid Wind32 application.

To get the ooRexx 4.1.3 deployed, I packaged it on Windows XP, then deployed
the package to my production Windows 2000 server which runs Apache / Mod_Rexx /
DB2. So I did not actually run through the
installer of ooRexx. Should not make a huge difference how I got the files on
the machine.

So, I am suspecting that some higher compiler version is building executables
that require a higher minimum version of Windows. I guess I could start back
stepping versions seeking the next highest
version that will actually run on Windows 2000.

I was just wondering... is there anywhere in the compile/build settings
something stating the minimum version of Windows or some system DLL 4.1.3 was
built to depend on / require?

Back to ooRexx 3.2 on the Windows server for the moment...

Blessings,
