David and myself had discussed the possibility I would contribute to assisting
with the Ubuntu Linux builds. I had mentioned that for sure the officially
supported Long-Term Supported (LTS) versions
have official builds for them. There are always two official LTS versions.

Then sprinkle latest versions only for a short while as the rest of the Ubuntu
versions I believe are only supported for six months. Building for those
in-between versions are mainly beneficial that
the ooRexx project knows the builds install/run successfully.

Ubuntu in recent times has decided to change how they run their services,
moving to systemd. I was told that under the new implementation, services will
be controlled via the following syntax:

systemctl enable apache.service (enables Apache to run on boot)
systemctl disable apache.service (disables at boot)
systemctl start apache.service (Starts)
systemctl stop apache.service
systemctl restart apache.service

So I am suspicious after the change to systemd, perhaps new ooRexx packages
that are systemd specific might be required.

Anyway, I am still interested in contributing towards Ubuntu builds.

I am thankful,
