Hi Rony,
thanks for your contribution. I have put your name next to installer and
test framework, but I understand that you are busy. I don't see this as a
commitment to do work on anyone's part at this point, but more a survey of
what we have in terms of capabilities and talents.
I think that it will show up areas where we need to find capabilities and
talents, and I think it might be useful to then let those people who have
put their names near a category discuss how we might run with that. I
intend to let the conversation carry on for a bit more in case we have some
surprises to come.
Thank you for suggestions about where we might go with this - I really
appreciate your input. I want this discussion first to just let us see
what we have in terms of a development capability and then if we do have
enough to safely take the language forward and responsibly create releases
we can talk about strategy.
At the moment we still have no names next to the show-stopping platform
experts and release life-cycle. Also, Jean-Louis is alone in the very
important area of the interpreter itself. I suppose that if we don't find
them amongst ourselves, we have to go out and look for them or some of us
have to develop those skills.
