Hi Jon,

I've thought things over and I think you can put my name next to "J" ooDialog. I have a vested interest in it for the foreseeable future. There will be a long ramp-up tho' as I figure out whats going on where

Hi Rony,

thanks for your contribution. I have put your name next to installer and test framework, but I understand that you are busy. I don't see this as a commitment to do work on anyone's part at this point, but more a survey of what we have in terms of capabilities and talents.

I think that it will show up areas where we need to find capabilities and talents, and I think it might be useful to then let those people who have put their names near a category discuss how we might run with that. I intend to let the conversation carry on for a bit more in case we have some surprises to come.

Thank you for suggestions about where we might go with this - I really appreciate your input. I want this discussion first to just let us see what we have in terms of a development capability and then if we do have enough to safely take the language forward and responsibly create releases we can talk about strategy.

At the moment we still have no names next to the show-stopping platform experts and release life-cycle. Also, Jean-Louis is alone in the very important area of the interpreter itself. I suppose that if we don't find them amongst ourselves, we have to go out and look for them or some of us have to develop those skills.

thanks, Jon
