Perhaps more to the point is whether a DLL of nearly 2MB presents a problem
to anyone - who's going to be running SQLite - these days?   Presumably
people using non-trivially sized databases would normally be running
machines with several GB RAM.  How then would such a small difference in DLL
size matter?
