Surely, the software would support more cards than ours. The point is that we need an app that's pro quality, robust, and supports everything that a studio needs and then some. Open Source developers are notorious for developing applications that make sense to THEM. What we need is something that seems intuitive to someone with recording studio experience. That is, we need an interface that reminds them of mixing boards and such. In fact, what we probably need is a suite of apps. One for recording studio. One for music composition. One for sound-effects. It might be bad to try too hard to combine them all. Just go on what things traditionally look like and just share code beneath different GUIs. _______________________________________________ Open-graphics mailing list [email protected] http://lists.duskglow.com/mailman/listinfo/open-graphics List service provided by Duskglow Consulting, LLC (www.duskglow.com)
