I'm quite interested in this. I'm an undergrad electronics student, and so have encountered some VHDL. I'm interested in obtaining some more skills etc in the area. I haven't used Verilog before, but intend on learning it now to participate in this project! Am I right in thinking that no open source synthesizers exist?
