When testing, do you read out all registers via the jtag port, or do you bring
out some data on the expansion connector, and grab the data using a logic
analyzer?
Merely inquiring what the preferred tools are when debugging.
To some extent, we have been bringing data out to user I/O pins, but
with PCI working and a rudimentary register interface, it's not hard
to make internal signals available by reading over PCI.
