I can use it (nvidia xvmc) only for mpeg1 and mpeg2, and the deinterlacing does not work for me (yet, I'm too lazy to find and apply all the patches), it plays 1080i HD on Celeron D 2.66 @ 50% cpu usage on the cheapest nv6200 passively cooled card.
