Aren't you using the same chip as the GP2X game console (a Conexant
CX25874)?
I believe that's the one.
Apparently, some fan programmer of this game console claimed to drive
its TV chip directly for NTSC TV-out back in november (see:
http://www.gp32x.com/board/index.php?showtopic=33218 ). I think his home
page is at: http://www.retrodev.info/ and he apparently agrees to send
his code on request (though no download seems available).
