This is not going to make consumers happy if it is true.

However, SiliconImage makes HDMI transmitters that have HDCP built in, so if we need this, it is simple.


ain't gonna work, you also need an HDCP key which we won't be able to have
in any case, if your monitor doesn't accept non-HDCP video, then return
it as defective and request your money back
