hello everybody, I come back on the list (*)

Currently, the ogd has two dvi and one s-video output:
        everything goes
        out since it's a graphics-card.
However I suggest something more closed to the electronic
        consumers
which have certainly a camera (digital or still analog). Hence,
        would it
be a good idea if a variant of ogc had:
        - one dvi output
        - one s-video output
        - and one s-video input (or something else more suitable) ?
Does the current ogd design can go in this direction without to
        much
        pain and money ?
It's just a way for the user to read his/her movie from the
        camera on
        the monitor.

Nowadays, the market provides PC with a Tv-card on which one can
        plug a
camera as well. These Pc are designed for a familial use, a
        dual-monitor
isn't a requirement for this purpose.
So, a graphic-card which can in/out video could be a alternative
        for the
OEMs since a lot of household get already the tv and could find
        useless
        to buy a pc with a tv-card.

(*) related to the Linuxtag, I hope that the stuff for the
        posters was
        satisfying

        luc
