However, my suggestion to use a parallel RAID arrangement with 4 flashcards to provide a 32 bit flash drive might be fast enough. It really needs to be faster than a very fast SCSI drive to be a viable idea.
As pointed out, one has to wonder if using flash memory for the swap drive would wear it out in a short time.
