Hi, I envy you has the chance to pursuit a phd on GPU. I'm also a person instresting in 3D graph.
But I nearly have no any knowledge about graph hardware. For several years, I use M$ directx, and I turn to linux world at the last fall. Xwindow and DRI is killing my brain cells now. And I plan to read some kerenel codes.
