Just to add to this. The tpgt is not needed at all for us. At one point we used to enforce that the login be to the specific tgpt that was originally setup, but users ended up never needing or wanting that. For boot it was a issue because ibft did not even give us this info. And for other cases it turns out users would move portals around the target to different groups.
