I'm still not a lawyer and in no position to advise on legal matters 
regardless what view I may have.  Also almost every contributor to 
open64 is in fact paid to do so.  Further.. it's very common for open 
source projects to have contributor agreements and have some policy at 
least when copying code from another location.  Please don't take my 
silence as lack of empathy, but rather reminding people at the things 
which have been said over and over again..
