I'm trying to get the AFS server functionality working under Mac OS X
(which is documented as "untested"), and have gotten fairly far with
bringing up a server and configuring it. Most things seem to work
(authentication, acls, etc), but there is something seriously wrong
with the fileserver itself. If anyone can point me at documentation or
someone who can answer my questions, I would be grateful:
1) A straightforward build of the sources does not produce the same
assembly of files as distributed in the binary release for Mac OS X.
What configuration settings and other massaging are necessary, so I am
determine if my problem is related to a misconfigured build?
2) How do I go about diagnosing the fileserver problem? A guide to the
file formats would be helpful.
