The documentation I read was that it was acceptable to use folders, rather than mountpoints, for OpenAFS. Specifically: I'm running this OpenAFS server inside a jail right now, and the underlying file system is ZFS. Why is your suggestion a "bad idea in general"? Is it less stable?
