So, there's no way to get OpenBD to see the ODBC DSN?

ODBC is up test and ready to serve. I just can't get the DSN name to 
appear in the Database Type list.

I've got two clients who are less than pleased with me because I can't 
update their sites presently. And to not be able to do something now 
that I was able to do 10 year ago simply adds to the frustration.

If someone knows now to remove the Sock requirement to connect to my
