Just a note on this:

I believe the idea here is to create choice. Right now, there is no
choice to separate out the development conversations with the regular
support conversations. Folks are simply forced to endure the development
conversations whether they care about them or not. With two separate
lists, you create that choice.

If you don't care to separate out the conversations and want both the
development conversations and the support conversations in the same
folder, you can do that using mail filters. Just subscribe to both lists
and have them delivered to the same folder in your email client. That
way, any message sent to either list will all be the same to you.

The point is to create a choice for those who want to separate it.

Jordan Michaels
