Hi Alan, I'm all about open source. I think it's a great thing. No need to apologize. I know 1.1 was just released, I'm just saying as someone who is trying to put it to use, I'm running into to issues and there isn't documentation for certain things. I'm just trying to bring those certain things to attention so that documentation can be provided in the future, hopefully.
I know my first idea (seperate installs of jetty) would require multiple instances of java running, but wouldn't there be a benefit to that (assuming you have the computational resources to keep up)? Like, myapp1 goes into a loop... you could kill that service without affecting all the other apps. Just wondering. So let's take the following idea c:/jetty-openbd/webapps/myapp1/ c:/jetty-openbd/webapps/myapp2/ c:/jetty-openbd/webapps/myapp3/ And create in the context folder, the different c:/jetty-openbd/contexts/myapp1.xml c:/jetty-openbd/contexts/myapp2.xml c:/jetty-openbd/contexts/myapp3.xml ** I was not creating the seperate contexts. I had no idea, this file had to be duped. So I shouldn't have even been touching the virtual hosts config in openbd.xml ??? I should have duped openbd.xml, renamed it to match the folder 'company_com' aka company_com.xml and edited that instance of virtual hosts?? hmmmmm.. We might be getting somewhere. btw, everyone should check out a band called OSI (office of strategic influence). you'll thank me. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Open BlueDragon Public Mailing List http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en official site @ http://www.openbluedragon.org/ !! save a network - trim replies before posting !! -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
