This is true, the Installer is set up this way in a hope to lower the 
learning curve and provide for similarity between engines. Basically you 
just set up the OpenBD as a common class in Tomcat - it's really quite 
simple. I've been meaning to add this to the Wiki for some time now... 
Thank you for the reminder.

If you are interested in seeing a walk-through of how to set up OpenBD 
like that, let me know, and I'll make the wiki updates a priority.
