I just tried entering the specific local ip address of the server
itself, and as soon as I submitted the security page data the page
went blank and I was no longer able to access the admin section.

Once we figure this out, it would be great to be able to put together
a how-to for folks like me who are trying to replicate a Windows/CF/
IIS installation. Ultimately, I'd like to be able to serve multiple
virtual hosts, using different domain names, from the same webserver/
port, using a single instance of the OBD engine (and for the cherry on
top, to be able to locate the CFM templates for each virtual host on a
separate drive from the OBD engine). If I can get to that point, I'll
be happy to document the steps (and missteps) for future
reference :).

I am using Jetty to serve, largely because I don't know enough about
any viable alternative. To give a small bit more detail, what I'm
trying to set up is a dev server that I can use to show prototypes to
clients. I'd prefer not to pay for a purely dev license, but I can't
live with the ip address restrictions of the commercial CFML servers
(I don't have a lot of people, but they come in from all over the
place :). I suspect there are a few more folks like me out there, and
if it's possible to make OBD work for them without too much of a
learning curve (from the setup perspective anyway), this has the
potential to become the preferred alternative for a lot of small
developers and skunkworks.
Thanks again for the assists--looking forward to more info when you
have time . . .
Cheers,
