Nothing shows up in teh logs when I make a request that turns up a white
page. It's like it never happened.

Well, keep in mind things work for me just fine in Firefox, Chrome, and
Opera. Any and all virtual hosts entries work just fine in those browsers.

It's only when I try hitting the site in IE using a domain prefixed with
something like

*.company.com
www.company.com
test.company.com

that I get problems. aka the white page.

The site come up fine in IE if I just use the root domain 'company.com'

I can actually give you my entire R2R package if you want and you have a
windows 2003 server box to run it on. All you'll need to do is setup an
entry in your hosts file.

Memory usage isn't a problem.

I have the same problem wether i use public dns, local hosts file, or I
connect from a remote machine or the server itself. I can be browsing on the
Windows 2003 machine that is hosting the R2R package, using a local hosts
file, and it still bombs out to a white page if I use any virtual hosts
entry that has a prefix.

One thing I would like to point out:

If I go add a new virtual hosts entry, say www.bluedragon.com and try and
resolve it. It will load the page, partially. The first attempt to fetch the
page works. HOWEVER, the page that is returned also makes requests for
images, in which the url referenced has the same domain name, so when the
page renders, the template is there, but the images fail to load. When I
refresh, I get a white page. So it works for the very first GET, but after
that it breaks.

I put the page online publically so you can try it.

Just hit details.at in IE. It should work fine. At least render ok.

Then do www.details.at in IE. It should appear to work fine, but the FLASH
image won't be there. Then when you refresh. white page.
