Well, I'd run netstat or portscan before you start Open BD to see if any other program is binding to that port before Open BD gets to it.
That's why I asked about Apache / Skype. I had a problem sometimes where Apache stopped responding because Skype got to port 80 before Apache bound to it. I had to set Skype to not use alternate ports. I would suspect that maybe this is happening with Jetty. .Peter J.B.
