That's why I asked about Apache / Skype. I had a problem sometimes where Apache stopped responding because Skype got to port 80 before Apache bound to it. I had to set Skype to not use alternate ports. I would suspect that maybe this is happening with Jetty.

And if it runs for a while and then tanks, I'm a bit suspicious of memory issues as well, but who knows. JB sent me the code so I'll see if I can figure anything out. Log analysis will probably be revealing as well.
