Great suggestions. I also agree that in most cases Flash remoting isn't really necessary, but I'll still finish up my howto guide for those who want to use it, and I suspect we'll still make it available in a future release of OpenBD. Frankly we haven't had very many people screaming for it, and JSON is a great, more universal option.

Thanks for the link to the JSON libraries for Flex--wasn't aware of those.
