Wow, I've been gone for 6 days? Anyway, sorry for merging those thread topics with my last comment.
Topic 1 - I've NEVER been able to get BlazeDS running on my Tomcat, and that was the first app there (the BlazeDS turnkey actually), even before I deployed OpenBD there. I've given up for now... dead issue... moving on... Topic 2 - Was the difference between queries returned by CF vs. BD using a plain ol' web service; and how Flex can't deal with the later natively. That's when I wrote the little ActionScript function to keep the balance of my Flex app running. A workaround to keep me happy. Alan K.
