Correct that you currently do not need to configure a datasource,
because OpenBD-GAE currently doesn't support datasources; instead, you
specify dbtype="google" in your CFQUERY tag, which is also the
default:

In the future, after we add relational database support, it will be
possible to configure datasources.
You can view the datastore contents in your development environment
via the follow URL:
http://localhost:8080/_ah/admin
When deployed to Google servers, you can view the datastore contents
via the Google admin console. Maybe if we're lucky Paul will post a
video on this. :-)

P.S. You don't need to be a guru to touch bluedragon.xml; it's just
plain old XML, which is no harder than HTML. Nothing scary there.
