This is my scenario: Sometimes the external port 25 is firewalled for security reasons.
I have an intranet developed on BlueDragon on the company's local server and I have a SMTP server hosted on a datacenter. I can't send mails from the local server through the hosted server because the local network has the external port 25 blocked. The employee's email programs are working fine, because are using the port 465 wiht the SSL option.
