A couple of months ago I decided to consolidate a couple of servers and needed to be able to run php programs, mostly wordpress. I first tried php for IIS unsuccessfully. I then installed apache server and used the openbd / tomcat to go with it. Both IIS and apache are listening on different ip addresses. So no conflict there.
Any way I still have the jetty server running and haven't seen any conflict with openbd / tomcat.

the vm, and deploy it in a network load balanced farm. I'm using
pfSense as my firewall, and it supports NLB. So I will just deploy 3
copies of the vm, change hostname to wwwX (www1,www2,www3), and change
the IP. The pfSense will act as the VIP that initial requests hit.
Having said that, another thing I liked about Jetty was everything was
done via .XML and as I need to do reinstalls or deploy more servers
or, in my case, update live servers with updated configs from an
approved staging server, it's all easy to do.
What are the advantages to the Windows Installer vs r2r package?
