Yeah, I don't set the default document. I'll see what I can do about that in upcoming releases.

Thanks for testing it again! Very glad to hear things work well!

Warm Regards,
Jordan Michaels

I've ran this through on XP, 7 32-bit and 7 64-bit and everything is
GREAT! Haven't found any issue with it. The installer runs through
smooth and the service is created and started without a hitch. The UAC
is working correctly as well and everything is opening correctly.

The only thing to note here is that with IIS, index.jsp and index.cfm is
not added as a default document. This will need to be added either
globally or per site that you want it available.

Thanks again Jordan!

    Jordan,

The installers are looking really good!

Can i ask you a question about context paths ?

As you know the document root is passed over from the Boncode
connector and picked up by the valve.

The main thing thats preventing me rolling out mod_cfml is that I
have virtual directories on my webserver that have to have
corresponding Context paths on my host, these obviously do not get
automagically created. Is there any way that the valve could have an
additional config file that we could put info like this in for it to
pick it up ? Or get boncode to send over info about virtual
directories at their corresponding actual paths. Of course I can
just use the installer and then manually setup my tomcat hosts but
the nice thing about mod_cfml is that doesn't require a tomcat restart.

    Thoughts ?

    many thanks

    Alex

The OpenBD 2.0.2 Windows Installer Release Candidate is now
available for download at the following URL:

            http://openbd.viviotech.net/

This RC contains the following fixes:

            - [FIX] Windows: The Tomcat Service Control JVM setting is
now explicitly set via the installer by way of a registry edit.
            - [FIX] Windows: The erroneous service config has been
removed and replaced with the single service install which
occurs after proper JRE_HOME, etc variables have been set in
            the service.bat file.
            - [FIX] Windows: The path for the Tomcat Service Monitor has
been corrected and works properly now.
            - [NEW] Windows: The Tomcat Service Control and Tomcat
Service Monitor now benefit from a registry edit on the
OpenBDw.exe executable which allows for a UAC prompt instead
of an explicit denial when accessed by a non-administrator
user. (IE: you are no longer required to right-click and
select "run as administrator". Instead, you just click the
"Yes" button on the UAC prompt.)

Huge "Thanks" to Matt, Ben, and John for your help in
reviewing the BETA and making this release better then it
            would have been otherwise!
