Marcus,

Are you using the single instance install with virtual hosts? Which version and 
is your stack apache/tomcat?

If the answers are 'yes', I had a similar problem and resolved it by modifying 
my server.xml to only deploy the main app. If this is what your using, I'm 
happy to provide a Host code snippet for you to test out.
