I'm building what will be a free webshop system, especially for the Open BlueDragon CFML engine.
I'd love to hear from those here who run webshops, or have worked on them for others, what features you feel are lacking in common webshops. My goal is to make this as much of a one-stop webshop as possible for the OpenBD engine. When released the features will be very standard, but will include on-the-fly PDF creation for customers and possibly reports, multi-images with lightbox on item pages, AJAX powered shopping cart, PayPal payment integration(IPN), CloudFlare integration (auto-blocking on known hacking attempts), basic inventory tracking, running sales (Per item, per category, or site-wide). There will also be a templating engine, but I'm not sure it'll be done in the first release or it I'll wait until a later release with that. So there's nothing spectacular here as you can see, I've adressed the main issue I've seen in the past, working with sales and paypal integration with other webshops. Again, this will be a free webshop, it will be available on RIAForge, but I'd like to see what problems others are having, or have had to custom fix, and see if it's something I can implement from the start with this webshop. -- -- online documentation: http://openbd.org/manual/ http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en --- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open BlueDragon" group.
