I would like -prefix. Massimiliano any comments? The new variables would
be first introduced with openca-0.9 so you are not primarily affected

raserver was used because of a logical problem. The RA is normaly a
building where the RA Operators sit and do their job. The raserver is a
computer perhaps far away which supports several RAs. The CA has no such
problems because there is only one CA and all actions should be done
directly on the CA-machine.
So raserver protects the users to talk about the RA but mean two
different things - the locality or the computer.
During the process of an installation there is not the risk to confuse
with the different meanings so we could use ra.

What is a modules-prefix? Why do you need cgi-bin? cgi is shorter and
every single word between two '-' has a single meaning. cgi-bin
irritates.
The complete list would be:
ca-prefix (old ca)
ra-prefix (old raserver)
(ca|ra|pub)-htdocs-fs-prefix (old (ca|raserver|pub)-htdocs)
(ca|ra|pub)-cgi-fs-prefix (old (ca|raserver|pub)-cgi)
(ca|ra|pub)-(htdocs|cgi)-url-prefix
If you have new ideas then simply change the list and send it again.
