Yes this appears to be the case

I appear to have solved this. It was a problem caused by not initialising
the dB's first as you suggested.
Now I have moved a step closer but still have some problems.... when I try
to import the approved request into the ca I get the following in the log
file:
shell-init: could not get current directory
job-working-directory: could not get current directory
and the req file fails to extract - although on the web browser it shows the
contents of the openca-inca.tar so it is finding the tar file.
If I manually extract the tar file using tar xvfp /tmp/openca-inca.tar -C
/usr/local/OpenCA/inbound/reqs I get
Document contains no data in the web browser if I try to click on the
certificate request serial number.
In the logs it says:
Can't call method "errno" on an undefined value at lib/crypto-utils.lib line
60
Compilation failed in requre at /usr/local/www/CA-cgi/ca line 160
I have perl v 5.6.1
openssl v 9.6
openca0.8.0.20010610
regards
Tim
