Is the CA certificate present in the $RAServer/chain directory and the cert
chain as been built ???

There is a working version of openssl from our ftp site in the tools/ dir.
I suggest, anyway, to try using on of the latest openssl SNAPs available
from ftp://ftp.openssl.org/snapshots
