hello, there are versions of iexplorer, that fail to generate keys in openca - i've reports regarding iexplore 6 on win xp and iexplore 5 with 40bit cipher on win 98. yet i had no chance to review the configuration of iexplore personally, but it seems that due to some upgrades (service packs) the iexplore 6 stopped working and that 40bit cipher is not enough on iexplore 5 because the 56bit version works (i've tested also 128bit). clean win xp with iexplore 6 works. so my question is:
is there anyone with the same experience and solution for that ? it's a rather big problem for me, as only three machines of hundred managed to create the keys and produce request for certification. thank you, martin lizner www.anect.com czech rep. ps. here's a list of configurations i've tested: os iexplore bits cipher passed win98 4 40 no win98 5.01 40 no win98 5.5 56 yes win98 cz 5.5 128 yes win 2000 6.0 56 yes win xp clean 6.0 128 yes win xp patched 6.0 128 no win xp cz clean 6.0 128 yes ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Openca-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/openca-users
