Looks good
Can't use string ("Configuration.pod") as a HASH ref while "strict refs"
in use at /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.0/ExtUtils/MM_Unix.pm line 541.
gmake[4]: *** [openca-configuration/Makefile] Error 2
0.9.0 doesn't work with perl 5.8 because of some unclean definitions. I'm tagging 0.9.1 in some minutes so it is available on monday.

In a separate directory i am compiling another openca, with make and your
new Makefile. It seemed to solve the problem, yet it complained about the
following:

+ /usr/bin/gzip+ /usr/bin/tar Bxvf -
 -d -c gettext-1.01.tar.gz
gettext-1.01.tar.gz: No such file or directory
make gettext-1.01/Makefile MODULE=gettext-1.01
make: don't know how to make gettext-1.01/Makefile.PL. Stop
*** Error code 2
Usually this happens if you run gzip and tar some time before on this file and the original gettext-1.01.tar.gz is no longer present. Please try it on a newly extracted distribution.

Well, i seems i'm getting to be quite a nuisance. Any ideas about either
one?
First you are not a nuisance because it is not your mistake if we have problems with our makefiles and documentation.

Second if you use the new 0.9.1 and gmake on monday then your problems should be "fixed" (the make problem is not really fixed of course).

Best regards

Michael
