is possible to use patched X500::DN with an openca-0.9.1.x? Until 0.9.2 will not be a release version, I'd like to stay with 0.9.1
No, I cannot recommend this because the changes are not trivial. 0.9.2 will include support for multivalued attributes by default. 0.9.1 was not designed for such subjects. So patching 0.9.1 would result in the same stability like CVS HEAD.
