But were you able to see the Server Init -> Intitialise Database and Server Init -> Import Configuration links?

I configured config.xml. Do I need to edit any more file to specify that my node is at the RA level?

Thanks,

I still can't initialize the RA interface using the web.

I've already looked at the sources, but even there I can't see any reference to the steps mentioned in the manual.

I've made a grep -ri "Import Configuration" * in the source root, but the only reference is inside the Data Exchange area. Nothing in the initRA section.

So, my question is: has anyone successfuly initialized the RA node in RC1? How?

I've tried to execute the same steps in different places: I went to the Server Init -> Initialize the Certification Authority -> Initialize Database.

I can see the tables are created in mysql, so I believe this is working.

Then I go to the DataExchange -> Download data from a higher level of the hierarchy -> Configuration. But nothing happens here. It hangs in "Importing valid CA_CERTIFICATE".

Any help?

Another problem is configuration-wise. I plan to have eight RA/pub/... all with virtual hosts.

So, I configure each one of them (config.xml) to have a different ra,pub, etc. section? Is this OK?

Thanks,

The initialization of the RA works in RC1. I have succeed one time to have a working RA (with import in LDAP and MySQL), but I don't find how to reinstall i correctly ... The imports in LDAP don't works anymore. For me the configuration import stop on "Importing CA-Certificates into ldap ...".

For your problem, maybe you have a bad MySQL (or the DB you use) configuration.

Antoine Nguyen.
