I had been using OpenSSL version 0.9.7a that came with RedHat Linux 9.0 when I encountered the blank page. The openssl-prefix was set to /usr. I moved to OpenSSL 0.9.7c to see if things changed and they didn't (The prefix was changed appropriately). If it is an issue with the path to OpenSSL, why would other operations that are based on OpenSSL work (e.g. creating an RSA private key)?

Thanks
NB

Subject: Re: [Openca-Users] Phase 2 Issue Certificate - Blank Page
Date: Mon, 1 Mar 2004 17:19:12 +0100 (CET)

I used to have that problem, How this used to happend
in my machine?? I used to install OpenSSL by my self
using tar.gz, and I used to use in the ./configure the
option --with-openssl-prefix=/usr/local/ssl, and all
times it used to happend, then I moved to Install
OpenSSL using the RPMS from the RedHat 9.0 CDs, and
after that I used this path in the same option from
the ./configure script --with-openssl-prefix=/usr/,
and that solved all of my problems.

I used openca-0.9.1.7

Hope this will help,
Johnny
