So, I think the problem are the accents that are not acceptable. To solve this problem I have to make in my Perl code a conversion to this characters ?? In this way, my "clients" will can type their names normally (with accents) and the program automatically will convert this characters to another acceptable.
I am in the right way??? Or there is another way to solve this problem and don't let the user see this limitation os characters??
Now I understand your problem. Generally OpenSSL can handle such special characters but many programs cannot handle the output. Therefore it is strongly recommended to only use ascii characters. If your users enter characters with accents then you can change this at the RA interface.
BTW do you use a mysql database?
