Hi,

you are not connecting to the OpenCA DB. Try this:

$ mysql -u openca openca -p

You will have to enter the password for the DB user.
If you don't succeed, FIX IT in MySQL first. Don't proceed before
this is working, because it's your MySQL configuration that is
broken.

Once you have got this working:

db_module: DBI
db_type: mysql
db_host: localhost
db_name: openca
db_user: openca
db_passwd: ...
db_namespace:

Rerun configure_etc. Restart openca daemon.
