Hi,
I guess it cannot load Oracle.so because libclntsh.so is not in the
LD_LIBRARY_PATH. See Gios first mail:
install_driver(Oracle) failed: Can't load '/usr/lib/perl5/
site_perl/5.8.5/i586-linux-thread-multi/auto/DBD/Oracle/Oracle.so'
for module DBD::Oracle: libclntsh.so.10.1: Kann die Shared-Object-
Datei nicht öffnen: Datei oder Verzeichnis nichtgefunden at /usr/
lib/perl5/5.8.5/i586-linux-thread-multi/DynaLoader.pm line 230.

ahh, right. Didn't look in this mail. Giovanna, please include the
Oracle-provided
environment file in your startup and try again. It *should* work
because it gets
your LD_LIBRARY_PATH set up correctly.
